Abiotic factors
Abiotic factors (from α̉- (a-) or (an-) - negation, absent, without (something) + gr. βίος (bios) - life), physicochemical factors - ecological factors of physical nature, along with other factors affecting ecosystems at different levels of organization.
Abiotic factors in a major way shape the biotope and affect the living organisms that must evolve to adapt to it. Rapid and powerful changes in abiotic factors such as sea transgression may inhibit the development of hitherto existing organisms and alter the structure of the biocoenosis.
Abiotic factors can be divided into: edaphic and climatic.
For abiotic factors we include: Bibliography
