Baltazar Batory (born 1560, died September 11, 1594) is the son of Andrzej Batory (died 1563), brother of Cardinal Andrzej Batore, nephew of King Stefan Batory

In 1594, in anticipation of the abdication of the Prince of Transylvania, Zygmunt Batory (cousin Balthazar) was condemned by the opponents of Sigismund to be the successor of his cousin and was to become the ruler of Transylvania. Zygmunt's demise did not happen, rebellion was suppressed, his leaders cut off, and Baltasar and others were murdered in prison at the end of 1594. He had a name unknown to him who died during his father's life.
