Wild garden
Wild garden Wild garden
Wild garden - a horticultural field initiated by William Robinson (1938-1935). A breakthrough in the art and design of gardens started in England. The author recommended using it for both private and public gardens. This wildness did not propagate the disorder and chaos of the garden and the use of native species only - wild ones. It was an art mixture of wild and cultivated plants (also tropical and subtropical), which could have survived all year round, in conditions similar to natural ones such as wetlands.
The wild garden in its form was intended to show the individual beauty of plants according to the layout.
In Germany, the ideas of a wild garden were propagated by Karl Foerster Bibliography
