Gnom (engine)

Bike with Gnom engine

Gnom - a catalytic internal combustion engine manufactured in Wroclaw Psie Pole Metal Works in the 1950s. It was a two-stroke engine, air-cooled. The drive was transmitted to the front wheel of the bicycle using a roller wheel that is pressed against the tire. The roller was directly attached to the crankshaft. It was produced in two versions - 0.4 hp and 0.6 hp, differing in the carburetor throat diameter and fuel nozzle diameter, and the compression ratio.

There is also a version of the engine that can be fitted to both the bike and, after attaching the screw, over the canoe or boat. This version has a modified magnet cover with hooks for the attached screw and firing pins for the cable. Technical data
