Mezopory
Mesopores - according to IUPAC, a solid body with a characteristic transverse dimension (diameter) in the range of 2 to 50 nm (sometimes referred to as 2-100 nm). Their distinguishing feature is the phenomenon of capillary condensation of gas molecules (par), which is often accompanied by capillary hysteresis. Pores smaller than mesopores are micropores, and larger ones are macropores.
Mesoporeses are tested for mercury porosimetry, adsorption methods (BJH pore distributions) and X-ray.
