In Poland, the book was published by REBIS Publishing House in 1992, translated by Małgorzata Pacyny (ISBN 83-85202-57-9). The cover illustration was designed by Doug Beekman. Description of the plot Hero, half-elf and half-man, is looking for the evil magician Jelerak to get revenge for turning him into stone for eternity and sending him to hell. He travels on a steel demon demon called Black, from which he returns. Dilvish sets out for another Jelerak residence - the Eternal Castle. The novel also follows in the form of a collection of short stories published a year later under the title Dilvish Curses, whose plot precedes the events of the "Land of Change."
