Communist Party of Poland (1965-1996)

Communist Party of Poland (KPP) - an illegal political party founded by the Polish Maoist Kazimierz Mijal in 1965.

On December 4, 1965, in the apartment of Czeslaw Blicharski at ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 21 in Warsaw took place the founding meeting. There were former PZPR activists and members of the government who were removed from power by Władysław Gomułka, among others. Hilary Chełchowski and Władysław Dworakowski. The creation of the CPP was the revenge of Kazimierz Mijal for the so-called process. Mijala group, which began on November 30, 1964. KPP did not develop a broader business. She concentrated several dozen people acting conspiracynie. In 1966 Kazimierz Mijal left the country illegally and went to Albania. Radio Tirana broadcasts programs in Polish, popularizing KPP. Through the Albanian Embassy in Warsaw, the leader of the group continued to direct its supporters. However, the SB managed to introduce several agents to KPP, which allowed the party to break up within four years. Several people associated with the CPP were deprived of their liberty. Among them were Stanislaw Brodziński, Zbigniew Osten, Kazimierz Jarzębowski and Władysław Rowiński. KPP existed until the beginning of the 70s. After entering into conflict with Enver Hummus Kazimierz Mijal left Albania and left in 1978 to China. He returned to Poland illegally in 1983 and continued to work under the name of KPP, attacking the government of Wojciech Jaruzelski. He was briefly arrested in 1984. Formally the CPP existed until 1996, practically without any significant activity.
