D class road
Class D road - access road - the lowest class of public roads according to the division introduced by the Regulation of the Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy on the technical conditions which should correspond to public roads and their location (Journal of Laws 1999 No. 43, item . 430). The regulation specifies what technical and service requirements should be met by the class. These requirements depend on the design speed of the road. For class D one design speed is allowed in the built-up area: 30 km / h and two design speeds outside the built-up area: 30 and 40 km / h. Class D roads may belong to the category of municipal roads.
