Fiodor Truchin
Fiodor Truchin Fyodor Ivanovich Truchin, Russian Federation Фёдор Иванови Трухин (born February 28, 1896 in Kostroma, Russia, died August 1, 1946 in Moscow) is a Major General of the Red Army, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Committee of the Liberation Peoples of Russia and commander of the 2nd Armored Division of the KONR during World War II.
In 1914 he graduated from junior high school and then law courses at the Moscow University. From 1916 he participated in the First World War. Served in 181 regimental regiment. In 1918 he joined the Bolshevik army. He participated in a civil war with white men. In 1925 he went through cavalry officer training. He became head of the 45th Staff and then 7th Rifle Division. Since 1928 he was the chief of staff of the Saratov Infantry Corps. In the years 1932-1936 he was the head of the methodology department at the. Mikhail Frunze. In 1939, he graduated from the General Staff Academy and later served as a senior instructor. In 1940 he was promoted to Major General. In January 1941 he was deputy chief of staff and head of the operational division of the Baltic Military District.
June 29, 1941, just days after Germany's invasion of the USSR, he was wounded and taken prisoner of German occupation. In the same year he collaborated with the Germans. In September he joined the National Labor Union (NTS). In March 1943 he began to work with General Andreas Vlasov as the official representative of the NTS. He entered the staff of the Russian Liberation Army (ROA). He conducted propaganda courses for Russians working with Germans. Gen. A. Własowa was appointed Major General with the right to wear a ROA badge on uniform. In October 1944 he co-founded the Committee for the Liberation of the Nations of Russia (KONR) in Berlin, where he assumed the post of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the KONR. From April 1945 he commanded the 2nd KONR Armed Forces Division. At the same time, on April 28, he was appointed by the SS-General Inspector of the "Eastern Army". On May 7, Pribram was captured by Czechoslovak Communist guerrillas and was soon handed over to the Soviets. After the famous Moscow trial of the KONR leaders, he was sentenced to death on August 1, 1946.
