Gene regulator sequence
Gene regulatory sequences - a DNA fragment regulating gene expression. Regulatory sequences attach to transcription regulating proteins, such as transcription factors and remodelers, and RNA polymerase. The combination of these sequences, together with the combination of protein factors available in the nucleus and their activity, makes the gene expression level regulated by type, metabolic status, and external stimuli.
