Taikyoku


Taikyoku - a kind of exercise (kata) from the Taikyoku group belonging to the so-called. Kihon-Kata. They were created not on the basis of specific situations taken from the battlefield, but for training purposes, because kata, which were their prototype, were too difficult to learn for beginners. Their creator was Yoshitaka Funakoshi, son of "modern karate father" Gichin Funakoshi. There are three basic variations of this kata:

Each of the listed hangers is a separate layout. The shodan, nidan, sandan pronouns describe the level of difficulty of the exercise - they are Japanese numerals. The name Taikyoku kata translated into Polish means "beginning". In addition there are other groups than Taikyoku (eg Heian).
