Coat of arms of the Grodno region
The coat of arms of the Hrodna region represents the golden bison, standing in a natural position, looking towards the right on the red shield, the French shape. In the gem of a coat of arms crown with five towers. Heraldic shield is surrounded by golden oak branches, tied with a blue ribbon.
The coat of arms of the Hrodna district was established on 14 June 2007 by the Presidential Decree of Belarus. It refers to the coat of arms of Grodno, which was given in 1878.
