Lilijka Zawiszacka
Lilijka Zawiszacka is the organizational badge of the Catholic Scouting Association "Zawisza".
It has the form of a scaly lily with a heraldic shield, which depicts the image of the Cross of the Lord in the letter "V". Lilijka means unity with the Scout movement, the Cross signifies Christ - the Savior of the world. For people this sign became a hope for victory over evil and death. This victory symbolizes the letter "V" (from Latin "vincere - to win"). Christ said that he was the Truth (Latin "Veritas"). VERITAS VINCIT - The Truth will prevail. Lilijka Zawiszacka was worn instead of the Scout Cross, it was received after the Scout Promise, each copy is numbered. After the inclusion of "Zawisza" in the structure of the European Scouting Federation, the association took over the rituals of the Scouts of Europe, and the role of the badge changed. Today is a sign of the Scouts of the Commonwealth of the Republic of Poland. History
Although she is a relatively young badge, her story is very interesting. Initially, scouts of informal "Zawisza" uniforms wore uniforms identical to those of the then ZHP and used the Scout Cross. During the summer camp on the Wierna River in August 1982, the church departing from the church met the inspectors of the Kielce Choralek ZHP, two days later the camp visited the provincial guard, accompanied by militia to solve it. Since then, "Zawisza" has established a distinguishing feature - the Scout Cross was worn on a leather belt on a uniform pocket. In 1985 it was completely abandoned, shortly introduced a lily with the image of the Holy Father and changed the color of the uniforms to brown. Soon afterwards, Lilijka Zawiszacka was introduced with Veritas Vincit syrup. Lily of the Scouts of Europe
Since joining FSE SHK "Zawisza" does not use a scout scandal with the letters ONC, in use is a scout of the Scouts of Europe inscribed in an eight-pointed cross.
