Parmalatka

Parmalat, a parmalat jacket - a type of short sleeve with a ribbon, popular in Poland in the 80s of the 20th century. Made of material resembling foil paper. An advertising print was placed on the parmalatce. The name comes from the first type of jackets imported to Poland from Italy by individual importers, which were sold on bazaars. These jackets were printed with "Parmalat" and came from Italian dairies belonging to this company, which served as working clothes. At the time, such a jacket was attractive in Poland as a topcoat due to the small variety of clothes on the market and the foreign-sounding print.

A Parmalat jacket printed with "Safari" was sung by Pabied's band.
