The valley of Żabia Jaworowa

The valley of Żabia Jaworowa and the Little Żabi Staw Jaworow

Dolina Żabia Jaworowa ("Žabia Javorová dolina") is a small valley of the Tatra Mountains, extending from the east in the Javorinská Široká massif, Široká.

The Jaworowa Valley is a western branch of the Slovakian Javorová Valley, located between the Javorová Valley and the top floor of the Javorová Valley called Zadní Javorová Valley. It is situated above the Żabia Jaworowa (Žabí vrch, 2203 m n.p.m.), whose ridge separates the Żabia Jaworowa Valley from the Dolny Zadnia Jaworowa. On the west, it borders on the valley of the Ravienková dolina, belonging to the system of the White Water Valley (Bielovodská dolina).

In the valley, at the height of 1704 m, there is a small frog Jaworov (Malé Žabie Javorové pleso), from which flows Żabi Potok Jaworowy - the main watercourse of the Żabiej Jaworowa Valley. In the vicinity of the valley there is a hiking trail leading to the Ice Pass (Sedielko) and further to the Spišská Valley (Piatich Spišských plies) belonging to the Malá Studená dolina.

Żabia Jaworowa Valley is located in a strict nature reserve and is inaccessible to tourists. Bibliography
