Heinz Bollhorst

Heinz Bollhorst (born February 25, 1922,?) is a Nazi war criminal, report officer at the Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp and SS-Oberscharführer.

He ended his education at elementary school and was a blacksmith. Member Waffen-SS. From January 1942, Bollhorst was serving in Mauthausen as a guard, a blockfighter (Blockführer), a report officer (Rapportführer) and a head of the prisoners' committee. He actively participated in executions managed by the camp authorities. He personally committed suicide and tortured prisoners.

Bollhorst was tried by the American Military Tribunal in Dachau on September 26 - October 1, 1947. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. Bibliography
