Mariamme V


Mariamme V (1st century) - representative of the hereditary dynasty, Herod's wife from Chalkis.

She was the daughter of Joseph III and his wife Olympias, daughter of Herod the Great. The date of her birth is not known. It is assumed that it was born in the first years of the first century.

She married her cousin Herod of Chalkis. This marriage was hypothetical at the end of the twenties and first centuries.

Herod's child from Chalkis and Mariamme V was Aristobulus III, the king of Armenia Minor. Bibliography
