Martin Windrow
Martin Windrow (born 1944) is a British historian, publisher and author of several hundred books and monographs on the specialization of the organization and the conditions of the Army's equipment, with particular to the history of World War II and the French Foreign Legion. <<> Windrow is a graduate of Wellington College. He sits in many historical commissions, among others. Royal Historical Society and the Foreign Legion Association of Great Britain. His most important work published in recent years is the book The Last Valley, dedicated to the battle of Dien Bien Phu, fought during the First Indochina War.
