Grace of God

Dei Gratia (from Latin - by the grace of God) - brigantine, merchant sailing ship, found abandoned Mary Celeste. History and cruises

A sailing ship about 370 miles from the Azores, 590 miles from Gibraltar, found the mysterious Mary Celeste. Morehouse and his crew brought the abandoned Mary Celeste to Gibraltar, where they demanded a reward for saving the ship. For this reason, they became the first suspected Attorney General of Gibraltar to murder the crew of Mary Celeste, but the Vice-Presidential Court finally awarded them the prize and gave praise for their resourcefulness and dedication. An award of $ 8,300 has been reduced by the court's costs of long-term investigations. In 1881 Dei Gratia was sold to the Irish.
