Wooden spoon (also variegated, potato) - long spoon of wood. Formerly commonly used during cooking (hence the core of warz-). Among others, the Podhale was used for mixing in the boiler and picking up, for example, the croissants.
Nowadays, it is especially helpful for Teflon frying pans because it is not as hard as metal ladle and does not damage plastic. Also recommended for long-term processing of fruit products due to lack of oxidizing properties of wood.
