Sabian - Canadian producer of percussion discs, alongside such companies as Zildjian, Paiste and Meinl to the market leaders. The company was founded in 1981 in Meductic in New Brunswick on the initiative of Robert Zildjian, son of Avedis Zildjian III, president of Zildjian. Sabian comes from the first two letters of the three children of the owner of Sally, Billy and Andy.
