Structurally, these are the same compartments in which the conductor of a sleeper wagon changes the arrangement of beds according to needs. Exceptionally, there may be four compartments (in the case of parts of wagons in international transport coming from former Soviet Union countries) - they are so called. T4 compartments. In some types of wagons it is possible to connect two adjacent compartments.
Currently 3 to 2 passengers in the national transport are classified in class 2 and 1 passengers in 1. In international transport, the first class includes LUX and 1 passengers, and the other 4 and 3-bed. In the case of ordinary 2-person compartments, to which the class belongs, depends on the state (in the case of Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Turkey) 2, and in the case of other European countries the first one.
In every sleeping compartment, there is at least a washbasin with running hot and cold water, a mirror and a cupboard for toiletries.
The LUX range differs from the standard ones in that it has a shower, a toilet and a DVD.
In each sleeper van, there is a compartment for the conductor-steward, where you will find equipment that will allow you to prepare simple meals and serve snacks and drinks.
The sleeping cabins are usually equipped with either coal-fired or fuel oil heating, which ensures that the optimum temperature is maintained in the compartments even when the wagon is switched between trains. Bibliography
