The coat of the Sulęcin district

The coat of arms of the Sulęcin district depicts a Spanish four-faced shield, a cross in the heraldic fields of the first and fourth black colors, a silver cross of Maltese. In the second and third golden fields, two crossed red sandals over which a red, six-pointed star is visible.

The author of the coat of arms is prof. dr hab. Wojciech Strzyżewski.

Herb was established by Resolution No. XIV / 90/03 of Sulęcin District Council of 17 December 2003.

The crossed sandstones (boxes 2 and 3) are the coat of arms of the former Lubuskie bishopric. Bibliography
