Wyżyna Stawropolska
Stavropolska Stavropolska is a highland in the central part of the Permian River in southern Antarctica.
Stawropolska Upland borders with the Kuban Plain in the west and the Terecko-Kumska Nizina in the east. The average height is 350-600 m n.p.m., the maximum is 831 m n.p.m. (St George's to the south of Stavropol). In the west and in the center of the region predominates the sculpture of the low mountains, in the east the Wyżyna is a plateau cut in the valleys. I will divert the rivers of the Kuban (the catchment area of the Azov Sea, Kuma (Caspian Sea Basin), Yegorly and Kałus (without tributaries). The rivers of the Stavropol Uplands carry little water and often dry up.
Continental climate with mild winters (-4 - -6 ° C), warm summers (22-25 ° C), short spring and long autumn, rainfall from 600 mm annually in the west to 200-300 mm annually in the east, frequent storms and fenu winds.
I will grow Stawropolska covered with blackberries and chestnut soils. The original vegetation was steppe, in the south-east of the region - a dry steppe, and in the upper areas - a hardwood forest with hardwoods. Today the steppe is almost entirely occupied under intensive farming.
The population density is 20-30 people / km². The biggest cities are Armavir, Stavropol, Niewinnomyssk, Piatigorsk, Georgijewsk, Mineral Water and Buda.
