Bone-bone of man

Intercostal bone (Inca bone, latinus inc. tripartitium, os interparietale) - a rare variant of the anatomical structure of the human skull, consisting of the presence of additional occipital bone, corresponding to the upper occipital bone. This bone is connected with the occipital bone of the occipital bone (occipitalis transversa). The name of Inca bones stems from the fact that on the skulls found in Peru, this variant was found particularly often. Bibliography
