Eva Rubinstein
Eva Rubinstein (born 1933 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) - Polish photographer, creator of Rubinstein Piano Festival in Łódź. Curriculum vitae
Until 1939, she lived with her parents in Paris, and after the outbreak of World War II her family emigrated to New York (in 1946 she was granted citizenship). She studied at Scripps College and at the Department of Theater at the University of California. In 1956 she married William Sloane Coffin Jr., with whom she had three children - Anna, Alexandra and David. In 1968 the marriage ended in divorce. In 1967, she began to work on photography, initially commercial. She studied with Sarah Kernan, then studied with Lisette Model, Jim Hughes, Ken Heyman and Diane Arbus. She dealt with portrait and documentary photography. She has collaborated with publishers and magazines, publishing in Europe, the United States and South America. He is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and the American Institute of the Arts and Sciences of America. Family
The daughter of pianist Artur Rubinstein and Aniela Mlynarska Rubinstein. Both her brother, John Rubinstein, and her nephew, Michael Weston, are American actors. Eva Rubinstein is also the cousin of the poet Wojciech Mlynarski (grandfather Eva Rubinstein, Emil Mlynarski, he was Wojciech's uncle). Bibliography
