Kastuś Juchniewicz
Kastuś Juchniewicz (born December 15, 1896 in Puskarzyska near Brasławia, died September 17, 1941 in the Komi Republic) - Belarusian politician of the Second Polish Republic, journalist, deputy to the Sejm. Curriculum vitae
During the First World War he served in the Russian army and the First Corps of the Polish Army.
In the second period of the Republic of Poland, the vice-president of the Belarusian Confederation of Confederates (a competitor of "Hramady"), a member of the Board of Stefczyk. He wrote to "Belarusian Krynica", "Głos Wileński", "Kurier Wileński", "Sielska Niwa".
Arrested in 1928 for anti-state activity, in the same year elected to the second term of office of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland from the district of Święciany. His mandate was annulled in April 1930 to restore him to validation in July of the same year.
In the 1930s, he was associated with the Belarusian National Socialist Party, cooperating with the NSDAP in the hope of establishing an independent Belarusian state. From 1937 he served as its secretary.
In 1939, he was arrested by the NKVD and sent to a camp in the Republic of Komi, where he died. Bibliography
