The valley of Satan (the Satan valley) is a small valley of the Mengusovská dolina (Mengusovská dolina). Located in the tectonic crest at the foot of the eastern cliffs of Grani Baszt (Hrebeň bášt), at the foot of the peaks: Hlinská veža (2340 m), Capie Turnie (2364 m), Zadnia Baszta (Zadná bašta, 2379 m) and Satan (Satan 2422 m). To the north of Dolina Szataniej there is the Hynova Valley (Hincova kotlina).
In the upper part of the valley is the Little Hut (Malé Hincovo pleso, 1921 m, 2.2 m and 6.4 m deep). Inside there is a small Satanic Feast (Satan), and its bottom flows Satanov Potok (Satanov potok), tributary of the Hynet Potok (Hincov potok). In the lower part of the valley, the great Satan Ribbon falls with a huge scatter plat at the foot. Antoni Rehman was interested in this altitude of about 300 m.
"Satanic" nomenclature in this part of the Mięguszowiecka Valley is derived from folk passages. According to one of the applications in the area hidden treasures, however, Satan did not let them seek, striking the treasure seekers stones. It is known from historical records that in the eighteenth century there were indeed treasure hunters. Blame for falling from the steep cliffs of Griots Bash stones and failure in search they dropped on Satan.
There is no marked hiking trail through the valley. Bibliography
