Edward Szymoszek (born 22 November 1942 in Szopienice, died August 23, 2006 in Wroclaw) is a Polish lawyer and historian of law, specializing in the history of Roman law in the Middle Ages and in modern times. Professor of Wroclaw University and University of Silesia. Long-time head of the Department of Roman Law in Katowice and the Department of Roman Law in Wrocław.
