Operation Sejm
Operation Seym - operation conducted since February 1944 by the Soviet security organs and targeted at the structure of the Home Army and the Government Delegation on the territory of the former eastern provinces of the Second Republic. January 25, 1944 General Bogdan KobuĊow, one of the officers responsible for carrying out the Katyn massacre, issued guidelines for the operation of the agent of the Polish underground under the code "Seym". The name was taken from the Sejm river flowing through southern Russia and northern Ukraine.
It ended in 1946 with the partial liquidation of the Polish underground under the Second Polish Republic. Literature
