Emilian Jasiński

Emilian Jasiński (born 1865, died 1905) - Polish painter of genre scenes and landscapes.

Studied in Cracow at the School of Fine Arts in 1884-1887. From about 1889 he continued his studies at the Munich Academy with Aleksander Wagner. He remained in Germany permanently, was associated with a group of Polish painters. He exhibited in Cracow, Lviv and Warsaw. He painted mostly nostalgic landscapes and countryside genres. He was one of the co-authors of Panorama of the Tatra Mountains. The place and date of his death are unknown, the last mention dates back to 1905.
