Jerzy Roman Jaglarz


Jerzy Roman Jaglarz (born 1939 in Wadowice, died 26 March 1988), Polish poet, novelist, journalist.

He studied Polish studies at the Krakow Higher School of Pedagogy. He worked in company radio stations and received awards for his performances and reports. He was the author of many cabaret programs, as well as co-founder and president of the "Nadskawie" literary group. In the years 1982-1984 he was deputy editor of Beskidzka Publishing House in Bielsko-Biała and he worked in Wadowice Publishing House.

Member of the Polish Writers' Association. Co-author of The Tales of Wadowice (1983), published a volume of poems: Spamy on the imagination (1980), The most important open letter (1982), The Cabaret (1982), The derisory retreat (1984). Sudden death broke the advanced work on the bibliography dictionary of the Land of Wadowice.
