Louis-Antoine Pardaillan from Gondrin

Louis-Antoine Pardaillan de Gondrin, Prince d'Antin (born September 5, 1665, Paris, 2 November 1736) is a French aristocrat and military pioneer.

The only son of Louis-Henri de Pardaillan de Gondrin, Marquis de Montespan and Franciscan-de-Rochechouart, known as the Marquis de Montespan (later the maîtresse-en-titre of King Louis XIV of Burbona). On August 21, 1686 he married Julie Françoise de Crussol d'Uzès, with whom he had two sons, whom they both survived:

Louis de Rouvroy, Prince de Saint-Simon, described him as a decent good officer. Ludwik III Burbon-Condé, who had fun at his expense pretending that the military camp had been attacked. d'Antin was panicking, but as a calm man he did not seek revenge for this affront.
