Kosciuszko Mound in Połaniec - a mound built in 1917 in Połaniec on the hundredth anniversary of the death of Tadeusz Kosciuszko. On one of the commemorative stones this event was placed an array with the inscription:

At the place of the mound, Tadeusz Kościuszko, on May 7, 1794, published in Połniniec a universal, in which, on the basis of the constitutional record of the care of the state over the peasantry, he abolished personal serfdom. He acknowledged the peasants 'rights to the land, reduced the burden of serfdom, and defended the peasants from the heirs' arbitrariness.
