Ptosis (lat. ptosis) - eyelid fall, a symptom of muscle paralysis of the eyelid. This disorder is a developmental disorder that is most common in children, often found in families. Appears on one or both sides of the eyelid and partially on the eyeball. There is also a less common acquired form of the disease. Ptoza is also one of the symptoms of Horner's syndrome and myasthenia gravis.

This can be fully or partially surgically corrected by strengthening the muscles, or by using special eyeglasses with a veil on the healthy eye, which forces the affected eye to work harder and strengthen the muscles.

Pseudoptosis (Latin pseudoptosis) is a disease that resembles a ptozoa, but with a different etiology than the paralysis of the upper eyelid.

Static pseudoptosis - caused by the lowering of the ligaments of the ligaments of the lateral lobe (eg at the orbital-orbital fracture) with subsequent narrowing of the larynx and deepening of the lining of the eyelid.
