Cooperative of Design and Technical Services "INWESTPROJEKT" Gliwice (founded in 1955) is a project office that conducts design activities for residential, educational and sports construction, construction, service and engineering industries. History
Founder and first director of the company was Alina Soja, who in 1955 established in Gliwice a Central Office of Studies and Projects under the Central Cooperative Society of Labor. In 1958 the studio was moved to a very modest building at ul. Mill. The proper development of the company began in 1961, when the Association of Building and Housing Cooperatives transformed the Terenowa Pracownia into its Design and Investment Services Company. The company developed technical documentation for the needs of cooperative housing. In 1975 the company moved to a new building at ul. Finder 11 (present Jasnogórska Street). The flow of orders made the office began to grow in the 1980s to reach its "apogee". Established branches in Bytom and Ruda Śląska. In Gliwice there were already 4 laboratories employing a total of 475 people. Projects of housing estates were developed in such towns as. In 1989, the plant was transformed into the Cooperative of Design and Technical Services "Inwestprojekt Gliwice" separating itself from the Voivodship Housing Cooperative in Katowice. In 2006 after 50 years of existence, "Inwestprojekt" ended its activity by going into liquidation.
