Buturlik

Buturlik Buturlik - (butler) metal cover of the outside of the calf, especially popular in Turkey (analogous to keratin), Ruthenia and Tartars and Egyptian Mamelukes. The turkish brassiere consists of a long plate shaped to the calf, which was topped with a spooned bottom (for the ankle shield exposed to combat conditions, especially when riding). Two small plates were fastened to the plate with straps and buckles to fix the whole on the leg. Buturic was also sometimes a component of the plate-and-necked armor. Butler's Egyptian mammoth was decorated with silver inscriptions composed of large Arabic letters; Russian musters consisted of double plates decorated with decorations in the style of buckwheat and armor cirrus.
