Francis Chytry
Franciszek Chytry (born 6 October 1887 in Kobylin, died 16 January 1966) is a Polish pallottine brother, editor of Catholic writings.
He was a master carpenter. He joined the Pious Society of the Pallottine Society (former name of the Pallottines) on June 26, 1912, and on November 13, 1912, he received the Jagiellonian Society's Custody from the hands of Fr. Alojzy Hübner. Two years later, he made his first profession at Fr. Alojzy Majewski, perpetual profession submitted October 18, 1922.
As a Pallottine brother in June 1915 he was called to the Prussian army. At the end of World War I he worked for a short time in Germany (in Oberhausen) to return home in October 1919 in Wadowice. Here he worked as a furtian, he was also entrusted with the duties of his assistant. Majewski in editorial and distribution work at the journal "Queen of the Apostles."
In 1927, when the Polish Regia leased an archdiocesan printing house in Warsaw, Chytra's brother was transferred to work in the Pallottine publishing house in the capital. He mainly edited the monthly magazine "Little Apostle", cooperating with Fr. Majewski, Fr. Wojciech Turowski (1933-1934) and finally with Fr. Tomasz Mącior (1934-1939). With A. Majewski, he was more of a supporting role, since 1933 he edited the letter himself, and the priests were represented more formally as co-editors. Awesome. In the "Little Apostle" a popular series of articles by Gawda's Old Ambrose. He also edited other Pallottine writings - "Queen of Apostles" and "Seeds" (with Fr. Franciszek Pauli).
The Pallottine House at Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw was destroyed during the bombing of Warsaw in September 1939; He was sent to Oltarzew, where he remained until 1941 and worked as a carpenter. The same classes were performed at the Sisters of Mary's Sisters in Piazza. After the war he worked again in Ołtarzewo, then in Czestochowa, Ząbkowice Śląskie and Kielce.
He was the first Polish Pallottine brother to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his profession. He died at the age of 78 in January 1966 and was buried in Wadowice. Bibliography
