Basket (with höszöö - fencing) - the name of the main Tatar camp founded during the warlike expeditions;
. Gloger derives this name from the turn. koç, polished as "lodge". The basket, which was the main vehicle guarded by about two-thirds of the forces participating in the expedition, was the place to which the jassa and spoils were sent during the invasion. Later it was also accepted by the Cossacks of Zaporozhye to name the fortified camp built during the war expeditions. The basket in Ukraine is also called Sich Zaporoska (hence the function of the basketball atamana), and even the strongholds and fortified guards ("castles"), protecting against tatar attacks.
