Jerzy Szwajcer


Jerzy Szwajcer pseud. Jotes (born 1892 in Warsaw, died September 15, 1967) - Polish cartoonist, cartoonist, journalist. Curriculum vitae

The son of Jacob and Helena of Baumberg. He graduated from the Académie Libre in Brussels. He specialized in portrait caricature. He made his debut in the 1912 Brussels humorist Pourquoi pas.

He cooperated with many foreign and national writings (including Kurier Poranny). He published about 200 volumes and albums with portrait caricatures. He caricaturated famous politicians, artists, diplomats.

He also drew caricatures of officers of the Polish Army. In a series of albums, the Army has caricatured about 10,000 military caricatures.
