Joseph Fortuna


Józef Fortuna (born September 11, 1952 in Maków Podhalańskim) - Polish politician, self-government officer, doctor, deputy to the Sejm of the fourth term of office. Curriculum vitae

He graduated in 1979 from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Gdansk, and then went on to become a doctor of medical sciences. Since 1979 he has been working in a hospital in Sucha Beskidzka (he was a deputy general surgeon). He also conducts individual medical practice in the area of ​​surgery and oncology.

In the years 1998-2002 he served as a councilor of the Suski district. In 2004, he took up the mandate of the 4th term of office of the Chrzanów Region from the list of Law and Justice (in place of Adam Bielan elected to the European Parliament). He was not included in the electoral roll in the parliamentary elections in 2005. He enrolled in the same year the mandate of the councilor of Małopolska for another councilor who became deputy. In 2006, he was admitted to the county council of susi, candidate for local and competitive with PiS committee. In 2010 he was re-elected. He resigned from his mandate during his tenure as a deputy director at his local health care facility. Bibliography
