Matyas Bureau


Mátyás Biró, also called Maciej Devay, also known as Hungarian Luther (born in Deva in Transylvania), theologian, Lutheran Lutheran theologian, a disciple and a co-worker of Martin Luther. As a Lutheran student Birla lived in his house.

He was persecuted, among other things, repeatedly imprisoned for his convictions and reform efforts.

He wrote, among others, the Disputatio de statu, in quo sint beatorum animae post hanc vitam ... (1537), and also the Orthographica Hungarica, the first book written and published in Hungarian. Bibliography
