Sergiusz Karpiński


Sergiusz Karpiński (born June 12, 1952 in Katowice) - Polish politician, self-government, teacher, Member of Parliament for the second term of office. Curriculum vitae

In 1975 he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the University of Silesia. He works as a mathematics teacher at elementary school in Bytom and is also a member of the Polish Teachers' Union. He belonged to the Polish United Workers' Party for many years.

He was a Member of Parliament for the second term of office, elected from the Union of Labor in the Katowice District. After completing his work in Parliament, he went to the Democratic Left Alliance (he was a candidate in 2001 without success to the Senate). From 1998 to 2010 he was a member of the Silesian Parliament. In 2006 he was elected as SLD Representative for the Left and Democrats. In the years 2002-2006 he was Deputy Marshal of the voivodship. In 2010 he successfully applied for a Katowice councilor's mandate. Bibliography
