Culture of the island


Kultura wysocka - one of the cultural groups of the Bronze Age. It was developed in the 10th century BC. on the eastern slopes of the Lusatian culture, in the south of Volhynia, on the Upper Bug, Styro and Seret.

Its name is derived from the name Wysocko Wyżne in the Lviv region. Insofar as it exhibits many characteristics common to the Lusatian culture, it is also considered as its eastern branch.
