Mutnedjmet

Mutantżmet - the second wife of Horemheb, the last pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty. Her name is translated as: Goddess Mut is the sweetest. Presentation of Mutnedżmet from tomb in Tell el-Amarna

She married Horemheb just before his election to the Pharaoh, hence the opinion that the marriage was meant to help Horemheb in support of his quest to take the throne. Her images as a little girl appear in the tomb of Aj, indicating that she may have been his daughter. In other productions, he appears in the company of three daughters, Nefertiti - Meritaton, Meketaton, and Anchesenamon, which in turn is interpreted as an indication that Mutnedżemet was the sister of Nefertiti.

She died in the 13th year of Horemheb's rule at the age of 40. Bibliography
