Very active agent
Very active agent - a therapeutic agent with a small therapeutic index. The drugs belonging to this group are commonly called poisons (formerly venena). Substances being poisoned are labeled as "List A" in the Polish Pharmacopoeia. The pharmaceuticals belonging to this group should be stored in a pharmacy in a locked cabinet. Recipes that belong to List A have a special label color to avoid any confusion. For signs, a white inscription is used on a black background surrounded by a white border.
