Elwira Kamińska (born 9 December 1912, died June 30, 1983) is a choreographer, pedagogue, co-producer of the State Silesian Song and Dance Ensemble. Curriculum vitae

Her whole life was connected with music and dance. She obtained her choreography at the Krakow Academy of Music and Conservatory in Budapest. From January 1953, she cooperated with Stanisław Hadyna, participating in the creation of the Silesian Team. At the turn of the fifties and sixties she made an artistic contract with the Mazovian Ensemble, creating for him an entirely new set of stage and dance movements. She died on 30 June 1983 - the eve of the jubilee of the thirtieth anniversary of the existence of "Silesia". It rests on a cemetery at Francuska Street in Katowice.
