Ferry Terminal

Ferry Station Building Ferry Terminal View of the terminal inside Ferry Terminal - customs clearance point Ferry Terminal - the ferry destination to disembark / embark passengers and cargo. In the case of small river ferries, a hardened section of the shore, coupled with the road and possibly poles for mooring of the ferry, is enough. Large sea ferries operate at terminals providing infrastructure for proper clearance of passengers and cargo (Customs clearance, passport, ticket offices, waiting rooms). A characteristic feature of the terminals is the ramp which allows the ferry to be connected to the mainland. It is usually possible to adjust the height so that the descent and access to the ferry takes place without overcoming the slant when the ferry position changes due to a change in draft or tide.
