Henry Ganzer


Henryk Ganzer (born 17 March 1909 in Szczygłowice, died 1945) is a Polish wrestler, Olympian.

He was inventing a classic style. He was in the weights and cockerels. He made a heavyweight at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, where he lost two fights and was ranked 17th-19th. place. He twice participated in the European Championship (in 1929 in Dortmund and in 1931 in Prague) but without success.

Five times he was the champion of Poland: in 1927 he was 1928 and 1928, and in 1928, 1931 and 1932. He was a member of the clubs KS Gwiazda Rybnik (1922-1923), TG Sokół Rybnik (1923-1927), TG Sokół Knurów TG Sokół Katowice (1930-1933), KS Heros 03 Gliwice (1933-1939). The job was a chimney sweep.

During World War II, incarnated in the German army, he was lost without news at the beginning of 1945. Bibliography
