Graduated from the gymnasium in Brzeżany, then the seminary in Lviv. In 1842 he was ordained a priest. From 1861, a member of the National Parliament of Galicia, in 1873, 1883-1888, and to the Reichsrat of Pretoria in Vienna (elected from the Polish district of Tarnów-Brzesko), he was the chairman of the Ruski Club.
